This is a wild piece at its best and shoddily thrown together at its worst.
(0:00-0:38) - I really enjoyed the abrasive madness of the drums and the constant sampled "Yo"s coupled with those softer crooning undertones in the beginning, and it think it well establishes an idea of madness that to it's credit, the song holds true to all the way, I'd say.
(0:39-1:17) - The song loses me here. Probably the worst part of the song.. lacks any cohesive direction and really fails to even fit into the madness theme, instead just conveying random samples, and it's really noticeable.
(1:18-1:38) This part is interesting but still a little sloppy. A well-placed moment of solace followed by almost a sound of reloading, as if the boundaries were being stripped away once again.
The guitar works with the image but it brings forth that obvious sample feeling that's gross and works against itself while still contributing to the song. I think the underlying synth tied it together, however.
The piano at the end is very well balanced. However, the fact that the song has no resolution is garbage!
You really should have closed the song somehow.
Your control over sampling is really REALLY rocky right now but you have an ear for fun and harsh ideas! Keep it up and make something that melts everyone's brain on day!
