the sense of dimension gets a little lost in the creases of the sheet but this is so so cute regardless!
Thank you!!
really love the sunken quality of the eyes, are the almost carapace-like quality of the background. very cool
I thought I had messed up the eye a bit, but I'm happy you like it!
he' s very chill : )
He's a lil bit goofy :)
omg i love this!! vultures are so cool, i love how singularly you've presented the subject. the very scaled back background is really well executed too! the perch is so sharp and dark that it creates such a strong foundation for the vulture to pose, and the lines are very subtly indicative of a wide field of view and maybe a sense of desolation?? very fitting again, with the subject! vultures are not a very common thing to draw, so i appreciate it lol! birds are the coolest.
i love your different shading techniques to give depth to the piece, each mode of shading was well-defined from the others.
i think one thing i would say is that the head and face of the vulture could have gotten a little more love, more texture or some defining physical texture would have been elevating.
but either way this is super cute and im so happy you made it!
ty for reviewing my song i hope makes your day a little better like you made mine!
Thank you very much for your critique!! Yeah, I should've given the Vulture's face and neck more attention. Cause it looks like a 'Smiling Friends' character, lawl!
Yes, the life of a Vulture tends to be a lonely journey of being a scavenger, but they'll eventually be in the company of others with the same appetite!!
been following this panel on your ig, very visceral stuff -- very cool as always :)
Thank you so much :3
got a to of stuff I'm working on atm - can't wait till I can share some more of it out in the open :)
stay strong! life can be so hard, but if you keep at your passions and your enthusiasm, you still can succeed. it's okay to be stressed, and to be tired, and it's okay to take breaks. as long as you're trying, you're doing it! keep going :)
Thank you for this, I'm actually doing a lot better now since most of the stuff I was talking about since past. I'm taking a little bit of a break from THE game and I'm now focusing on more of a smaller project in Clickteam hopefully releasing on the 25/ 6th so look out for that!
super dope == i absolutely love the colors here. especially the varying shades of the sand, and the sky wowowow!! A very strong sense of solitude but with music, faint on the wind.
Thanks, I'm happy with how the sand came out, using different shades I think helps make it stand out more and makes the scenery look more interesting.
very coollll, i always have a soft envy for ppl that can draw flame well -- i never can quite grasp it! This is well done though, I especially love the softness of the eyes, and the way the orange kind of blends as an accent in the mouth.
Maybe the orange and the red on the top of the head could have been blended a bit better, but it's still rad :)
Hi,
Thank you, I've certainly had a decent amount of practice at drawing fire, it's always satisfying to draw.
Yeah I agree with you the colour's don't blend well together, the orange is the base layer and I did the yellow and red on-top. So it's it's all different layers and not really blended together, if I where to do this again I'd just do yellow bottom, red on the top and then try to blend in the middle to make a more natural orange transition. I'm still somewhat new to painting but learning is all part of the process. :)
very cool, the heads remind me of those guys from Spirited Away lol!
Thanks. :D
Ive never seen a full ghibli movie. im not a movies guy.
