Really great sense of humor. The gameplay was a little ehhh but the dialogue itself more than made up for it.

The idea and presentation is cool. However, the rushed creation is very apparent in the gameplay. The hitbox detection is absolutely ridiculously unfair, and the enemy spawn rates were confusing.

However, it's interesting. I'd be willing to play a more fleshed out version of this game for sure.

It'll be upsetting to not play this game without the iconic classic music anymore, but it's still pretty great.

I want to give this game 5 stars. I think it's incredibly cool and atmospheric. However, there is just so much holding it back that I can't.

The whole time as I was playing I felt as if the game and the controls were fighting me. Rarely when I failed a level did I actually fail, but the game itself decided to not work on some aspect. The gravity in this game is also odd, as it seems to just decide when it wants to work and when it doesn't. Sometimes when I jump, I'll be able to move left and right, and others not at all. The boundaries that lead to the game over screen are never clearly defined, which in theory is alright, but when I know I'm going to hit a platform in a second the game still game overs me... Yet when I send myself careening into the great emptiness, I have to sit there and watch myself fly away for ten seconds. Also... As cool as that track is, if you want a game with 200 levels, more than one song is highly necessary.

In closing, I really want to love this game. It's very interesting, but with all the buggy performance, I just can't bring myself to want to keep playing. I hope you improve this game, because you have something really neat here.

Fun stuff. Reminds of the old stick crime click games.

I absolutely love this game. It reminded me of so many other spectacular games, such as Lone Survivor by Jasper Byrne, and the classic Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street point n clicks by AfroNinja.

I really love how intuitive this game was. I love the music. I love how it looks. I love the plotting you need to take for the murderer route, I love how easy yet harsh the Evil route is. I love how simply pure the Pure ending is. This game is so thought out and actually chilling.

My first playthrough I got the gun and I didn't realize I had limited shots, and I accidently fired a couple times. Daddy came home and I thought I had remaining bullets, and so I shot at him only to hear the clicking noise. I ran away to my room only to have him appear and stab my eyes out again and again and again. That's fucking chilling, man. That's good horror game design. Another notable death was the rug spikes, because I had walked on the rug many times after the lights had gone off and never noticed the holes when they were on. It was surprising and I didn't trust any object for the next run. Good game design, once again.

I haven't been in love with a game on Newgrounds like this in a long, long time. I really hope you make a full fledged game out of this. I will buy it, and then I'll buy it for all my friends.

However, I did frequently get stuck on Daddy's entrance. It never forced me to restart the playthrough, but I did have to sit there for a minute at times which tends to be a bit of a tension killer.

Like I said, Loooove this game. Please expand on it so I can give you money.

Pretty neat little game, with very nice difficulty curves. I was a little disappointed with the ending, and was hoping something would happen to the boss upon defeating him instead of having to just get past him. I enjoyed it, but there isn't much to bring me back to this game.

There's nothing really wrong with it, but there are many games that have this same general goal and gameplay and have much more to it. This feels like a rough template and I really see no reason for anyone to devote that much time to this game.

For what it's worth, the art and music isn't half bad.

This game reminded me a lot of "BOXBOY," a game on the 3DS eShop. Any relation, by chance?

Anyway...

Hollllllyyyyyy fuck this game is brutal. The challenge scaled very smoothly and nicely and then just skyrocketed into a real mindbreaker. I really enjoyed it and despite lots of frustration I never felt mad enough to cease playing, so props to the creator on that. However, the lack of an ending was really really rude. Maybe I was supposed to play again, since the start of the game was different than before, but I was mentally done with the game.

I really enjoyed the gameplay and the development of the character, but the fact that there was no real ending (as far as I can tell) invalidates all of that. I enjoyed the game enough for it not to bother me too much, but I feel like it's something I should be bothered by.

Furthermore, as I said, while the gameplay wasn't ragequit inducing, it felt sorely unfair at points. The traction really screwed me on some specific jumps and positions I had to take to proceed, and it didn't feel like it was my fault. Furthermore, whenever I would change face, occasionally I would slip in between platforms, making me feel like I wasn't entirely in-control of what was going on at times.

Despite all this, I really enjoyed this platformer. With a few tweaks, it could easily be one of my favorites. To go even further, with a little more work and time, this could be a real masterpiece of a story and game. But that's up to you. ;)

I always come back to this game. I just love the simple yet appealing graphics, and the wave system is interesting.

Overall, this simple take on Snake just vibes so well with me. It's always been one of my favorites.
