ofc it's not perfect but there's a lot of fun ambition here. the black and white action sequences, the driving bird's eye sequence, with the very eddsworld-inspired soundtrack -- I think you wear your inspirations quite well, also the skeletons coming into frame at 1:10 is so funny to me lol!!! also the sound design on the pumpkin bloat guy is actually rlly effective?? feels very intensely like someone breaking into a wall fr.

i think the effort really shows here, and I hope you continue to improve your craft :)

this is awesome!!!! i love the ideas and concepts you come up with. so creative,, these ideas are making the most of your animation. the portal, the layout of the planet, it's all so so so cool :) i love how Baffy is like fuck you i don't wanna pay lol,, such a clearly defined character in 20 seconds. the intro is also very cool.

this is likely my favorite work from you.

Thanks for the review (and the other ones too)! I'd really like to revisit the little world and characters from this animation. I initially had bigger plans for Baffy: he'd go up through different layers of the underworld, until reaching the gate to the land of living, which the Devil guards. He'd slay the Devil (for revenge or something) and become the new ruler of the underworld. Then he would free Death from his post (the payment for the jetpack), and replace the position with someone else. This was just the skeleton of the plot, I would've certainly added in some more flavour if I had continued with Baffy, but alas, I got distracted by other things and lost interest. Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I thought you might like to hear/read some more about the project since you liked it so much. Thanks again for the kind words, means a lot!

freaky. would have loved to have seen more, but you know how to wrap it up for sure. i would have enjoyed a little bit more motion on the gunshot from the Bad Man, he really did that shit nonchalantly lol

i appreciated the effort in the animation,, even though the characters don't really walk around, the eyes and arm movements at least show some action.

i'd probably turn the volume on the gun down and ofc maybe get some background work in there, but everyone starts somewhere.

keep working at it! you'd be amazed at what you can do pursuing your art for multiple years.
