I was going for a more Guy Davis Sandman Mystery Theatre with those hatchings tbh. I feel the darker spray to try and get that Mignola feel even more kinda failed, but the colors are kinda nice, a bit too soft although. Thank you for the kind words however!

some of the linework feels a little sketchy, like snapped in place? that and the eyes on venonat are clearly just a pattern, but as a result it feels like there's no depth

but the style is super consistent and i think these are so fun! i love the bug group photo the most :) the lotad is awesome too, i love the inspired water element !!

i like the choice for the purple in the background, though the white and yellow in the bottom corner i think could have been something else. the web paint style is nicely done too i think.
