the reason the game works isn't super intuitive, but it's cute, and the very mild resource management was a fun way to spend 10 or 15 minutes

sincerely enjoying this game, although it is moderately buggy across the board. onscreen prompts never seem to want to leave the screen, and the wrong shop screen will appear when trying to go to work or the post, sometimes when I try to go to work Edmund will disappear onto his home street, invisible, and unable to leave.... lots of little stuff like this happens -- not gamebreaking, and the autosave feature negates any hardstop issues, but it is odd. (Playing on Chrome)

I am really enjoying the game otherwise. I wish there was more to do in Edmund's home. I wish we could write back to Elsie.

was pretty fun until i tried to go into the forest,, where the loading bar seemed to stick on the last 9/10th of loading lol. on chrome.

very strong tension and writing! i liked the art too, the minimalistic design works with the game, and the portraits are still nice and unique.

very sweet and sentimental text, if not the slightest bit preachy after awhile.

the art was wonderful, and I enjoyed the slight shifts in fish personality. i would have enjoyed some more varied signatures tbh, but this is a really lovely experience.

one thing that makes it very strong is that, while it doesn't autosave, you can chase through to where you left off very quickly. a game like this could easily be a slog to replay for no reason, so thank you for NOT doing that.
